Are files uploaded to a server?+
Never. Every file you add to the ZATO vault is stored locally on your device only. No file is ever sent to our servers or any third party.
What types of files can I store?+
You can store PDFs, images (JPEG, PNG), and other common document formats — insurance certificates, registration documents, MOT results, and inspection reports.
Is the Document Vault free?+
Document Vault is included in the free 30-day trial. After the trial it continues as part of ZATO Pro.
What is the global vault?+
In addition to per-car document folders, ZATO includes a global vault for files not linked to a specific car — useful for general permits, driver licences, or other documents.
What happens if I lose my phone?+
Since files are stored locally, they are not recoverable from our servers. We recommend using your device backup to protect vault files.
