ZATO is a personal car management application that helps you track expenses, manage service reminders, and communicate with other drivers. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with transparency.

2. What We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide our services:

• Account Information: Your name and email address, provided when you sign in with Google.
• Vehicle Data: Make, model, year, license plate, fuel type, color, and odometer readings you enter.
• Financial Data: Expense records (amounts, dates, categories) you log manually.
• Reminder Dates: Service expiry dates (ITP, insurance, vignette) you enter.
• Preferences: Currency, distance unit, language, and timezone settings.
• Messages: Chat messages exchanged with other drivers through the app.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Your device's GPS location or real-time position
• Your contacts, call history, or SMS messages
• Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking data
• Browsing history or behavior outside the app
• Biometric data of any kind

4. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to operate the app:

• Displaying your cars, expenses, and reminders within your account
• Sending push notifications for service reminders you have configured
• Enabling other ZATO users to find and contact you by license plate (only when you enable the 'Allow Contact' setting)
• Matching chat messages between drivers

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. The only information visible to other ZATO users is your car's license plate — and only when you have explicitly enabled the 'Allow Contact' option on that vehicle. We use Supabase as our backend provider for secure data storage. Supabase processes your data on our behalf under strict data processing terms.

6. Data Security

We take data security seriously. Your data is stored in a secured cloud database with row-level security policies ensuring each user can only access their own records. All data in transit is encrypted using TLS.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your account and all associated data within 30 days. To request deletion, contact us at contact@zirasoftware.com.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data

ZATO is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us immediately.
