Delete Your Account

You can request the permanent deletion of your ZATO account and all associated data by following the steps below.

Steps to delete your account

    Send an email to hello@getzato.com with the subject line:

    Account Deletion Request

    Include the email address linked to your ZATO account in the message body.

  3. 3

    We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days.

Send deletion request

What gets deleted

  • Your profile (name, email, preferences)
  • All your vehicles and their data
  • All expenses, odometer readings, and reminders
  • All chat messages and conversations
  • All uploaded files and documents (vault)
  • Your subscription record

What is retained after deletion

  • Anonymised, aggregated analytics data (Firebase Analytics — no personal identifiers, cannot be traced back to you)
  • Any legal / financial records we are required to retain by law (if applicable)

Retention period

All personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days of your request. Backups are purged within the same window.
